The use of the evapotranspiration cover for landfill is increasing because its long-term enhanced performance. However, performance primarily depends on onsite geo-climatic conditions. Therefore, field verification through constructed test plots required before actual implementation. Additionally, numerical modeling and comparison with results are necessary future prediction. objective this study was to simulate water balance hydrology using code SEEP/W. Drainage lysimeter fine-grained soil native vegetation. Field data from were obtained instrumentation. Onsite climatological data, laboratory investigated parameters studied plant used as model input. Based one year’s simulation, it observed that nearly captured seasonal variations in quantities measured field. Surface runoff reasonably predicted where precipitation intensity appeared be responsible some extent. Evapotranspiration slightly overpredicted fluctuation storage similar results. annual percolation approximately 45 mm, which under-predicted than 62 mm.
